We start with a thorough assessment. In this session we talk about you, your pain, your problems and your goals. We rule out serious conditions that might need something other than physio. We do a thorough physical assessment, and from this I make a provisional diagnosis. We formulate a treatment plan together, involving goal directed therapeutic movement. I aim for you to leave with an initial movement prescription, and a feeling of reassurance and more understanding about your problem.

Physiotherapy is an ongoing process of assessment. In a follow-up we reassess and progress your goals and your rehab. We go deeper into your movement barriers and postural issues. 

Treatment takes the form of 

- 1:1 movement coaching 

- soft tissue work and sports massage

- manual therapy and joint mobilisation

- western medical acupuncture

- education on anatomy and pain science

I can make a reccomendation on treatment frequency, but how often or how many you do is up to you.
